  1. Hi Yall!

  3. Well, here it is!  I have finally compiled this CD-ROM.  It contains all of my
  4. nudes that I have ever posted to the Internet.  All of them!  Plus, it also
  5. contains 120 never before posted pictures.  Plus some video clips and a music
  6. video and sex video.  But..... I guess you already knew that huh? :)
  7.  
  8. Anyway, I want to give you a few pointers about the layout of the disk so that
  9. you may use it easier.

  11. All of the pictures are in jpeg (JPG) format.  You can use your favorite viewer
  12. to have a look at those.  All of the pictures are in the /CD_Images tree of
  13. the disk.
  14.  
  15. All of the videos are in QuickTime (MOV) format.  I chose this format because
  16. it is the most portable.  If you do not already have a QuickTime viewer, you
  17. can obtain one for free from http://www.apple.com/quicktime.  All of the videos
  18. are in the /CD_Videos tree of the disk.

  20. For ease of browsing, I have included some HTML that may increase your browsing
  21. pleasure. :)  In the root directory of the disk, there is a file
  22. shelleyrene.html.  Simply launch your favorite browser with this file and you
  23. can surf my disk all day long.  I made it that way to make it more enjoyable
  24. and to make it easy.  I hope you all like it.

  26. You will need a QuickTime extension for whatever browser you plan to use if
  27. you are going to be viewing the videos from the browser.  You can have the
  28. browser plugin installed when you run the QuickTime installation.

  31. COMPATIBILITY

  34. This disk is formatted using the ISO-9660 format with long file names.  That
  35. spells near 100% platform independence.  That means that the disk is
  36. compatible with any operating system that supports long file names (Mac OS,
  37. Windows 95/NT, UNIX, etc.)  This disk is not compatible with Windows 3.1 or
  38. any versions of DOS or Windows before Windows 95/NT.  If you run Windows 95
  39. or Windows 98, you must be sure to be using a native Windows Protected Mode
  40. CD-ROM driver.  If you are using a Real Mode driver loaded from the
  41. CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files, you will not be able to view the CD-ROM
  42. as you will not have long file name support.

  45. PERFORMANCE ISSUES

  48. You may notice that some of the jpeg (JPG) files are fairly good sized.  If you
  49. do not have a very large desktop, you may want to tell your jpeg viewer to
  50. automatically scale to fit your screen.  LView is a good shareware jpeg viewer
  51. for Windows 95 that I recommend.  I decided to make them this way for two
  52. reasons.  The first is that I had a lot of room to play with on this disk.  The
  53. second is that some people really prefer higher resolution images.
  54.  
  55. If you are using your HTML browser to browse the disk, keep in mind that when
  56. you click on a thumbnail, the image pops up in a separate browser window.
  57.  
  58. In Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0, I have found that the videos are best viewed
  59. with the active movie extension which can be obtained free from Microsoft at
  60. http://www.microsoft.com/directx/.  As far as I can tell, you must have the
  61. QuickTime viewer from Apple installed before you install ActiveMovie in order
  62. for ActiveMovie to be able to decipher the MOV files.
  63.  
  64. If you are using Netscape as your browser, you may notice that the browser
  65. tries to copy the videos to temporary storage on your hard disk before playing
  66. them.  This occurs on both Windows and Mac OS platforms.  In order to avoid
  67. this, you may want to view them with the stand-alone QuickTime player.  I have
  68. noticed that Internet Explorer with the ActiveMovie extension does not attempt
  69. to make a copy on your hard disk first.

  71. It has been shown that certain configurations of Mac CD-ROM drivers may cause
  72. problems and significant delays when viewing the HTML pages through Netscape
  73. Navigator.  If you experience these problems, try to revert to the drivers
  74. provided with Mac OS.
  75.  
  76. You may find that the videos play rather sluggish from your CD-ROM drive.  If
  77. you are dropping a considerable amount of frames, you may want to try copying
  78. the videos to your hard disk before viewing them.
  79.  
  80. Color depth of your video driver may have a substantial impact on playback.  If
  81. you are dropping frames and you are running in High Color or True Color mode,
  82. try dropping down to a 256 color paletted mode and performance should increase.
